Flow: The Psychology of Optimal Experience

January 17, 2011

Are you and your ministry operating in your operational sweet spot?  That’s the question that Will Mancini asks in his latest blog post.  In doing so, he references Flow: The Psychology of Optimal Experience by Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi (actual last name…I did not type that with my fists).  He defines flow as:

The state in which people are so involved in an activity that nothing else seems to matter; the experience itself is so enjoyable that people will do it even at great cost, for the sheer sake of doing it.
